Frequently Asked Questions

My playlist isn't loading or shows no content
  • Double-check the server URL, username, and password — a single typo will prevent the connection.
  • Make sure your IPTV provider's server is online and your subscription is active.
  • Try removing the playlist and adding it again from scratch.
  • Check that your device has an active internet connection.
Video won't play or keeps buffering
  • A slow or unstable connection is the most common cause — try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
  • The stream URL from your provider may have changed. Re-sync your playlist to get updated links.
  • Some streams require a specific format. Try a different channel or movie to see if the issue is isolated.
  • Restart the app fully by swiping it away from the App Switcher and reopening it.
Downloads aren't completing or are failing
  • Check that you have enough free storage on your device — downloads need space to save.
  • Downloads continue in the background; a notification will appear when they finish. Make sure notifications are enabled for Streamly IPTV in your iPhone Settings.
  • If a download shows as failed, try deleting it and starting again.
  • Some IPTV streams are not downloadable due to the format used by your provider.
I can't find or play a clip I recorded
  • Clips are saved in the Clips tab in the main navigation.
  • If a clip is missing, check that the recording completed before you closed the player.
  • Clips are stored privately within the app. They are not saved to your Camera Roll automatically — use the Share button inside the Clips tab to export one.
AirPlay or Chromecast isn't showing up
  • Make sure your iPhone and your TV or speaker are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Grant Streamly IPTV access to the local network when prompted — this is required to discover devices. You can re-enable it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.
  • Try force-quitting and reopening the app, then wait a few seconds for devices to appear.
The app is crashing or behaving unexpectedly
  • Make sure you are running the latest version of Streamly IPTV from the App Store.
  • Restart your iPhone and reopen the app.
  • If the problem persists, email us at support@sidequests.info with a description of what you were doing when the crash occurred and your iOS version.
How do I delete my data?

All data — playlists, favourites, downloads, and clips — is stored locally on your device. To delete everything, simply delete the Streamly IPTV app from your iPhone. This permanently removes all associated data.

To remove individual items, use the long-press menu on any channel, movie, series, download, or clip.
